Drama unfolded in Buwenge Town Council, Jinja district, as residents were left agape after a cheating couple found themselves in a rather peculiar predicament—they got stuck together during a clandestine encounter.
The incident, which drew a crowd of curious onlookers, took place on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Jojo Bar & Lodge, turning what was meant to be a secretive rendezvous into a public spectacle.
The individuals at the heart of this bizarre affair are Alex Muhumuza, a 38-year-old driver hailing from Kawolo Lugazi in Buikwe district, and Sarah Namagoye, a resident of Buwenge Town Council in Jinja district.
Reports indicate that Muhumuza had traveled to Buwenge on Wednesday evening, presumably to spend the night with Sarah at the infamous Jojo establishment. However, the situation took an unexpected turn, prompting the attention of waitresses when the duo began yelling for assistance.
Alarmed by the commotion, one of the waitresses quickly alerted the Buwenge police, who promptly arrived at the scene to find the couple in their awkward entanglement.
SP James Mubi, the Kiira region police spokesperson, confirmed the unusual incident, stating, “The victims have been taken to Buwenge Health Center IV for medical attention before taking them to CPS Buwenge as investigations continue.”
