Man Visiting Woman Breaks His Arm After Jumping From Fourth Flour

A 25-year old man fractured his hand on Saturday night after jumping from the fourth floor of a rental building in Kenya.

The young man, whom police have since identified as Daniel Mwinzi, is reported to have been visiting a female friend when the incident happened.

The area Chief Sammy Njagi confirmed the incident, noting that he received a call from a tenant residing at the apartment around 6am informing him that someone had jumped from the building.

“I visited the scene and found the man, whose name I was able to establish, writhing in pain and holding his left arm. He had apparently sustained a fracture,” said the Chief.

According to reports, the man may have been trying to flee from the woman’s house.

The man is alleged to have climbed the stairs leading to the balcony, before jumping in one mad rush.

“The man was in the company of a woman with whom they had spent last night partying at a nearby night club. It is not really clear why he jumped,” said the Chief.

Police arrived at the scene moments later, and took the injured man to the Embu Level Five hospital where he is recuperating.

Police have since interrogated the woman said to be the owner of the house.
