A woman has opened up about her relationship challenges with three men, which made her give up on marriage. Nairobi woman Elmina Leona said she asked her hubby to remarry.
Elmina Leona, who was born in Bunyore, said she experienced a fair share of struggles with men who left her after impregnating her.
She recalled her relationship with her second man, who mistreated and disrespected her. Meeting lover while working in hotel Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Leona said she believed he was different, but he changed after they had been together for a while.
“I met him while working at a hotel, and he was serious about marrying me. By then, I had one child from my precious relationship, which I told him about. After marrying him, we lived well, but he also had other issues. He was impregnating women everywhere. Since we lived near his grandmother, the kids being born had to be shaved by the grandmother according to the Luhya culture. So I would be informed whenever a new baby was brought, but I’d just be silent about it,” she said.
Leona proposed to her husband that he marry a second wife if she was not enough to stop him from cheating.
The woman was abused by hubby The proposal was not warmly welcomed as the man even denied he was cheating on her.
She also noted that her hubby would abuse her whenever she talked about him and other women.
“He infected me with a disease thrice, and when I asked him about it, he would snub me. I tried to convince him to get another wife so we could be two and make him leave other women, but that fell on deaf ears,” she said.
