In a heart-wrenching account, a woman has narrated how they went to work for a while and upon returning home, found their daughter had already given birth with her father, who is also her mother’s husband.
In a short article aired by Afrimax channel, after encountering these events at home, the mother found herself at a loss and the only answer left for her was to accept the outcome and forgive, hence agreeing to live with her daughter as a co-wife.
According to the article, the mother was deeply hurt and almost sought a divorce, but realized that would not resolve things and would instead sow seeds of enmity between them, let alone welcoming discord into the family.
“She wanted to send her husband to jail for forcing their daughter to sleep with him and have a child, but she realized that wasn’t a solution,” Afrimax reported.
The daughter also deeply regretted engaging in intimacy with her father, but those regrets couldn’t change the reality that she had already borne a child with him.
“After reflecting, the mother realized it was her mistake to leave her husband for a long time, which sparked romantic feelings in her daughter. She decided to forgive, and now they all live happily as a blended family,” the article said.
Despite the challenges of such a scandalous situation, they chose to bury the hatchet and come together to deal with what happened because, as they say, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
