Woman Who Worked in Saudi Narrates Boss Locked Her up in Toilet with Body for 3 Days

A woman has emotionally opened up about a chilling experience while working abroad. Kitui woman Beatrice Mutuku tearfully recalls her chilling experience in Saudi Arabia.

Beatrice Mutuku tearfully said she still gets nightmares of what she saw during her stint in Saudi Arabia. What was name of Mutuku’s colleague? The mother of one claimed her boss locked her up in the toilet for a few days without food and drinking water.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Mutuku said she was locked up in the washroom with the body of her colleague, Sharmin.

“My boss used to lock me up anytime he left the house. I used to work with another young lady caring for my boss’s child. One day, I heard a sound. Later, I heard the child crying. I called out my colleague, but she didn’t respond. Then she answered while scared and told me she was going to die on that day. Then I heard the door banging loudly and then a loud noise, and I never heard the girl talking again,” she vividly recalled. Why did Beatrice Mutuku hesitate to carry body? Mutuku said her door suddenly opened, and she saw the child bleeding, with her workmate lying on the floor.

The boss and his wife took the child out of the house before the boss returned alone and told Mutuku to take the body of her colleague Sharmin to the toilet.

“It didn’t get into my mind that he could do something to her, but she lay there on the floor. I started thinking and wondering why she didn’t look like she was breathing and why they were calling me instead of her. I tried to call her name in a low tone because I was even afraid of checking her, but I got scared,” the woman from Kitui said. Mutuku hesitated to carry the body to the toilet because she feared she would be a suspect if her fingerprints were found on Sharmin’s body or clothes.

How did Kitui woman survive in toilet? She feared that the first sound she heard was a gunshot, as Sharmin had been silent for a while. Despite her resistance, Mutuku gave in to pulling the body after being mercilessly beaten by the cruel boss. “When they asked me to pull Sharmin, I pulled her, and once I was in the toilet, I was locked up with her. She was just a young girl and didn’t even have a child. When they locked the toilet, I stayed there for three days with that body until it started getting an odour. For real, I used to drink the water from the toilet, and I couldn’t even sleep, and up to now, I have that mental picture,” she narrated.

Where did Mutuku dump colleague’s body? After three days, her boss, who was not in the house with his family for those days, came for her and gave her strict conditions before she could be released, which she agreed to for her safety.

Right there, Mutuku’s boss threw two trash bags at the scared and physically weak household, instructing her to put the body of her colleague in them. “I was weak, tired, hungry and thirsty but could not oppose. With the little strength that I remained with, I did as I was asked. I then carried the body from the floor that we were to the car with which we would transport the body and dump it in a forest,” she said.
