The Sipi Police managed to arrest Cheptoek Dan and Chebet Rispa, residents of Kapchesombe village in Gamatui Parish, Sipi Sub-County, Kapchorwa district.

The alleged crime took place on September 7 of this year when the suspects are said to have subjected their stepdaughter, Chelangat Faith, to torture, leading to her tragic death.

This news has left the community in shock and sorrow.Following the alleged crime, the suspects managed to escape and went into hiding, evading authorities for an extended period.
