German-based social worker reveals some of the easiest ways for Ugandans to relocate and work in Germany

Ruz Hoff, a German-based social worker, certified Child Protection Specialist, Social Empowerment Advocate & Coach, and Speaker, was born and raised in Uganda to Rwandan-Ugandan parents.

She graduated in social work and administration before immigrating to Germany in 2008.

With 16 years of experience as a certified social worker in Germany, she recently shared an interesting video on how to relocate to the country.

Starting her conversation on how skilled people can easily relocate to Germany, a land considered to offer great opportunities, Ruz Hoff mentioned that since the German government opened its labor market for skilled workers in 2020, individuals with professional skills beyond those required for Au Pair positions have been able to work in the European Union.

Discussing the process, the Ugandan-born social worker noted that it is straightforward.

“Before applying for a visa, you must have your profession verified through the German system,” she said.

She emphasized that skilled workers currently in demand in Europe, particularly in Germany, are in the Health Sector, the Technical sector, and the caregiving sector, with other professionals also being desired.
