Security Guard On The Run After Fatally Shooting Man Over Alleged Love Affair With Married Woman

A man, suspected of being involved in an extramarital affair, was fatally shot by a security guard in Kampala. The incident occurred in Kyebando, Kisalosalo Zone in Kawempe division on a Wednesday evening.

The victim, Adaca Sabina, also known as Francis Alele, aged 36, was a driver for Khan Logistics. A security guard from SGA Security Company shot him.

The incident took place around 19:30 hours. Sabina was intercepted by the security guard, who also lived in the same area.

Sabina was shot in the chest while he was on the phone, trying to leave a corridor. The perpetrator fled the scene with the weapon, leaving Sabina bleeding heavily.

There are claims on social media that Sabina was killed because he was having an affair with a married woman. The police have acknowledged these allegations but stated that an investigation is underway to either confirm or refute them.

“It has been alleged that Mr. Adaca Sabina was involved in extramarital affairs, which may have contributed to this unfortunate incident. However, it is imperative to allow the ongoing investigation by the authorities to uncover all relevant facts and motives surrounding this heinous crime.”police said.

The police have also visited the crime scene, documented it thoroughly, and collected evidence to aid the investigation. Sabina’s body was taken to the KCCA City mortuary in Mulago for an autopsy.

The police have assured the public that they are making every effort to catch the suspect and recover the weapon used in this violent act. They have also appealed to the public to provide any information they may have about the shooting to assist in the investigation.
