JUST IN: Two Feared Dead After Cement Mixer Truck Crushes Subaru

A tragic accident has unfolded this morning when a cement mixer truck, believed to have lost control due to brake failure, toppled over and crushed a Subaru car, potentially resulting in the loss of an entire family.

The unfortunate event took place at Mpala, within the jurisdiction of Katabi Town Council in Wakiso District, causing a standstill in Entebbe’s traffic flow.

The cement mixer truck, bearing the registration number UAN 836B, is said to have veered off the road after the driver lost control, subsequently flipping over and landing on a Subaru with the registration number UBQ 371P, which was in the middle of the road.

As of the time this report was published, rescue efforts were still underway, with no occupants of the Subaru having been extracted from the mangled remains of the vehicle.

Security personnel, utilizing breakdown vehicles, were persistently working to remove the wreckage from the crash site.
