Security Guard Poisons Himself To Death After Woman He Educated Up To University Level Dumps Him

Evans Kosgei, the man accused of killing his wife in Nyeri, Kenya, has been discovered dead in Kiambu County.

The deceased went missing on Thursday, March 10, shortly after his wife, Jackline Kimaiyo, a teacher in Mathira East, was found dead.

His body was found in Thika, according to reports from KTN News, with suspicions suggesting that he took his own life by poisoning.

Before the tragic events unfolded, he had taken to social media to air grievances against his wife, accusing her of infidelity and expressing feelings of betrayal.

He claimed that Jackline had plans to leave him despite his efforts to support her education, even going so far as to sell possessions to pay for her school fees at Murang’a University.

In a series of heartfelt tweets, Kosgei hinted at his mental anguish, expressing a sense of hopelessness and a desire to join his late wife in death, as life had seemingly lost its meaning for him.
