Thieves Attack, Kill Two Men in Iganga

Police in Busoga East is investigating circumstances under which two men died in Namusiisi village, Iganga District.

One of the deceased has been identified as Abubaker Zijjakilo, a motorcyclist from Kaliro District, while the other is yet to be identified.

It is alleged that the two were attacked on Tuesday night by thieves who later stole Zijjakilo’s motorcycle. Their bodies which had cuts on the head and stomach areas, were discovered on Wednesday by residents.

Busoga East Police Spokesperson, Diana Nandawula says that detectives have been deployed to reassess the crime scene where exhibits have been extracted.

Nandawula further rallies communities to remain vigilant and share intelligence information with police
