According to the Man whose names were not revealed, the wife left for her village while she was six months pregnant.
However after days, he says he received a call from his in-laws who told him the wife died while delivering twins in the hospital.
Following the alleged incident, the man was asked by the inlaws to contribute money for the burial arrangement and told not to attend because he had not married the woman officially and he could be killed since he was the cause of her death.
The man fearing for his life, he decided to attend the alleged burial of the wife and his twins.
“They told me to send them 2 million for the burial arrangement of which part of it was to be given to the relatives to calm their anger down. I didn’t have money but I had to borrow until I managed to send them,” he said.
Further the man revealed that after sending the 2 million, he received another call from the in-laws pressurizing him to add another one million alleging that the brothers in-law wanted to hunt him and kill him.
“They called me again and pressurized me to send another 1 million for the brothers in-law adding that they wanted to look for me and kill me. I had to get a book and started collecting the money from the shops and friends. I called my home people who added me some money and I sent them to them,” he added.
However to his surprise, the woman surfaced again on Tuesday demanding that be given Money for child care.
“When we saw her, we thought she was a demon and we all screamed only to realize she was alive and she had lied to the husband,” one of the residents told Sanyuka TV.
Following the incident, the angry mob descended on her only to be whisked away by the police.
